It Came From The Bayou 2024

We're excited to announce our participation in this year's It Came From The Bayou printslinger showcase! The annual event is organized by Burning Bones Press, and includes printmakers from around the country converging on Saint Arnold Brewery to exhibit new and exciting works.

Join us Sunday, April 21st, from 11am - 4pm for the main festivities at the showcase and tabling event! We'll have a booth set up with our newest prints, including a special edition screenprint produced for the event.  You'll also be able to purchase a cold drink and food from the staff at Saint Arnold's.

And if you're available, there's also the Poster Show and Weiner Welcome taking place at Mid Main Gallery on Saturday, April 20th, from 6pm - 9pm. This event is free and open to the public, and will be on view for one month. This event will celebrate the kickoff of It Came From The Bayou weekend, and exhibit original screenprinted posters from a select group of artists, including Mystic Multiples. Posters will be listed for sale at $100, with proceeds going to It Came From The Bayou to offset costs of the weekend's events.

If you've never been to the event, then let me tell you-- it's one of the best events in Houston to see original work from a collection of the finest printmakers. The art fair is limited to artists working in traditional printmaking; no digital prints allowed. This results in a selection of lithographs, etchings, screenprints, linoprints, woodblock prints, risographs, and letterpress goodies.

And check back here after the event for a recap and pictures from the experience. See you there!
