Endless Monsoon is the first risograph printed zine produced by Sarah Welch and Mystic Multiples. We originally produced several screen-printed book projects, but the sheer amount of labor involved became difficult to sustain. And besides, we wanted to make sure that we could offer work at an affordable and accessible level!
Each issue in the series works as a stand-alone work that chronicles the evolving friendship of Angela and Jess. These two live in an exaggerated, extra swampy version of Houston that is drawn from our own experiences living in the city. This installment shows the two getting to know each other and the city while dealing with a torrent of rain, mold, isolation, and challenges.
