Mystic Multiples is a printing imprint, run by an art duo, in Houston, Texas

We're a specialist print shop that offers Risograph, Letterpress, and select screen printing publishing services.

Since 2008, we've produced art prints, zines, and other printed goods at our studio. We also love to exhibit our work in person at events across the country.

We regularly work with artists, designers, and other creators to create unique printed goods. Have a project in mind? Drop us a line today!

Sarah Welch and James Beard

Day to day operations are covered by founding member James Beard, who is a printmaker with extensive experience in handmade editions and ephemera.

Our frequent collaborator and other founding member, Sarah Welch, is a visual artist who creates original, narrative art that speaks to the experiences of life on the Gulf Coast.

Together, we guide the direction and output of Mystic Multiples.

Dedicated to Craft

All of our work is created in house and under our own expertise.

For Risograph work, we run GR series presses that are fast and quirky. We're able to print both small and long print runs with these unique machines, which lay down vibrant soy based inks and print on a variety of uncoated papers.

For Letterpress, we operate a Kluge 12x18 press from the 1930s. This cast iron monster is capable of pressing relief prints into extra thick papers for an extravagant, tactile feel.

We also own our own binding equipment and finishing equipment to help add any additional touches to your project.

Feel the Difference

We believe that our printing feels better in your hands than a digitally produced print. That's why we've chosen to focus on unique processes like Riso and Letterpress.

Each step of our process is built around considering and maximizing the characteristics of these print processes. We want to make truly awesome prints at a price that is accessible.
