We're happy to announce that we will be tabling again at this year's IT CAME FROM THE BAYOU!
If you've never been, it's a yearly showcase of printmaking talent that brings printers from around the country to show off their latest oddities. And the organizer? None other than local legends Burning Bones Press, which is a printmaking studio with a wonderful artist membership program that provides access to printmaking equipment.
The show's focus is on traditional printmaking, so it's a great place to talk shop and see a mix of woodcuts, linocuts, lithographs, and screen prints. And if the art's not your thing, the beer at Saint Arnold's does not disappoint. 🍻
Finally, the festivities stretch into Saturday as well with both a poster show at Mid Main Gallery, where will debut a new screen printed poster, and workshop by legend Jim Madison of PRINT MAFIA.
