Zine Fest Houston 2022
Share
Hear ye, Hear ye! The annual Zine Fest Houston takes place this Saturday, November12th, from 12pm to 6pm. It's all going down at the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art (not to be confused with The Orange Show on Munger St!).
Every year, ZFH picks a theme to inspire the festival goers, and we're psyched to share that the theme is Medieval / Fantasy! This makes it especially tragic that we will not be able to attend in person for the first time in nearly a decade.
But worry not, comrades -- renowned warlock artist Sebastian Gomez de la Torre has agreed to represent us at the fest and carry some of our new prints and zines! You'll be able to check in at his table and still drink from the holy grail and partake of some goodness.
After the festival, be sure to join the knights who do zine for a fun after-party at ECHOES. The whole thing kicks off after a short recess at 7pm, and will run until late.
New for 2022 is a zine by Sarah called Going Alone. It features two devilish characters that you may recognize from our art prints, and a story that looks at the excitement and vulnerability of letting new people into your life. Perfect bound with letterpress cover, you'll be able to snag the book on Saturday!
