As letterpress printers, the satisfaction of bringing new life to the old and sometimes forgotten, is not lost on us. That’s why we are very excited to have worked with Barbara Levine of Project B to create two photo sets with packaging based on a vintage Kodak photo wallet pack. share these photo sets by artists Barbara Levine (Project B) and Daniela Edburg.
These pieces were created in conjunction with the exhibition Out of Place: Photographs and Other Fictions at Cherryhurst House. Like the printed ephemera, the exhibition is a collaboration of photo works by Levine, who manipulates found vintage photography and Edburg who stages richly saturated, and often surreal photographs. The letterpress packaging was printed and then die cut in house. The postcard-style photos are offset printed: glossy on front and matte on back.
