Raised up high in the air, just out of reach of the incoming tides sits a geodesic dome home. Dome-shaped buildings are known to be more resistant to the high speed winds of hurricanes. Unfortunately domes which are made from conventional materials, "stick-built,' are also prone to leaking at the joints. Let's hope these folks have some nice, well sealed joints. On the breezy Saturday afternoon illustrated here all is well: The Amigo is parked in the drive, the tomatoes and greens are thriving and if you amble down the sidewalk you are free to take what you need. Just leave some behind for your others neighbors. Maybe start your own sidewalk veg garden. Heck, grow it in bucket. Who's gonna stop you?
